QR code bracelet for seniors
Updated 31 October 2026 · Fábio José dos Santos
If an older person with Alzheimer's or dementia gets lost, or feels unwell in the street, whoever helps needs to know who they are and who to call. With Pandu you make a free QR in 1 minute with their emergency details and the family contact. The helper points their phone camera at it and sees everything at once, with nothing to install.
How to make the bracelet
- On the home page, tap "Create my free QR now" and fill in the name, medicines, allergies and blood type. If it applies, tick "Alzheimer's / dementia".
- Add the phone number of whoever should be told, such as a son or daughter.
- Tap "Print card and stickers". The PDF includes small 3 cm QRs for the bracelet tag. Laminate it or use a bracelet with a blank tag.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a free QR code bracelet for seniors?
The QR is free. With Pandu SOS you make, with no sign-up, a QR with the emergency details and family contact, and print it at home. Any bracelet with a tag will do. Pandu does not sell bracelets.
What shows up when someone scans the bracelet?
A card with the name, age, blood type, allergies, medicines and family contacts, with buttons to call and send a WhatsApp message. If Alzheimer's or dementia is ticked, the card says the person may be disoriented and shows a button that sends the finder's location on WhatsApp.
Does the senior need a phone?
No. The helper's phone reads the QR. The person only needs to wear the bracelet, carry the wallet card or have a sticker on the walking stick.
Does a QR code bracelet have GPS?
No. The QR has no battery and no GPS, so it always works and has no subscription. The family gets the location when the finder scans the QR and taps the button to share their location.
Can I make my mother's and father's QRs on my phone?
Yes. Tap "Add a family member or pet". Each person gets their own QR and you switch between them with one tap, all on the same phone, with no sign-up.
Who can see the health details?
Only whoever scans the QR. The data leaves the phone encrypted and the key is inside the QR, so not even Pandu can read it. No sign-up, no cookies, no selling of data.
Can care homes or city programmes use Pandu?
Yes. Pandu is free and keeps no readable health data, so the organisation does not need to store sensitive information. Write to contato@usepandu.com.br.
Pandu SOS is not a medical service and does not replace emergency care.
